Genetic Disorders UK

Genetic Disorders s a charity based in the UK. They have a dedicated support line for anyone who has questions or needs help, a grant programme that gives money to disorder-specific charities, an organised two-day event in London every year that brings together different experts, charity leaders, and patient groups. They also run an annual Genes for Jeans fundraiser, if you sign up on their website you can receive a free fundraising kit to organise an event in your school, workplace, or community.

Genetic Alliance UK

Genetic Alliance's three main goals are to support families and individuals, campaign on government policies that affect genetic conditions, and unite a community of people who are all working towards a common goal. They are an alliance of over 200 patient organisations and work in a number of key areas to help their members:  reproductive techniques, diagnosis, medical research, healthcare and delivery, access to treatments and living and education.

Down's Syndrome Association

The Down’s Syndrome Association has been running for nearly 50 years and currently has over 20, 000 members. They aid parents of Down’s Syndrome people, run a dedicated helpline, offer professional appropriate training, help members get employment and run a number of fundraising events throughout the year. Most recently they celebrated Down’s Syndrome Awareness week in March that saw people across the UK taking part in and organising their own events to raise money and awareness.
